*Izinja* clocks 1000+ views in 2 days!!

3 weeks after the official release of the song, The official Music Video for TroikA’s hit song dropped and it created a crazy fuzz all over social media.

The song features Harrismith’s very own ManVicks, SlyTheOnly and Tuzlee. it has surfaced that it took over a year to complete the song.

Fans have nothing but good things to say about the song and the video as they share it every passing moment to expose it to expose it to potential new fans.

The Music video was shot in Intabazwe (Naledi Hall) and the new taxi rank in Tshiame B. It was shot, directed and edited by SlyTheOnly and Thokozane Tk Khumalo.

TroikA drops a new song “Izinja”!

TroikA drops a new song titled Izinja which features ManVicks, SlyTheOnly and Tuzlee.

The song snippet was released early last year (2021) on YouTube and it wasn’t clear which direction it was going to take because it only contained a hook. The energetic and nostalgic record has dropped and it seems like the streets are feeling it according to the reception on social media.

The song is only available on YouTube and Audiomack for streaming.

#Str33ts EP by TroikA removed from all streaming platforms!!

Str33ts EP by TroikA has been removed from all streaming platforms.

The rapper took to social media on Friday morning to voice out his concerns regarding him and the publishing company he worked with to release str33ts. According to his post, the publishing company wanted all control of the music released and The Harrismith Rapper didn’t agree to that.

The EP has since been removed from all digital streaming platforms.

TroikA drops an official music video for his song ‘Bad girl, Bad boy’ which features Selinah. The video has a dark tone and dark reddish colours to compliment the dark feeling of the song.

The official video stars TroikA and Hope Kimberly and it is Directed and edited by Sly.

“I would do it, But I like when the music sounds organic” TroikA on doing an Amapiano song

TroikA sat down with TXG on Qwaqwa radio on the 23rd of February to talk about everything Str33ts and his music journey. TXG had a lot of interesting questions for the Harrismith born rapper and as expected, he gave articulate answers to each and every one of them.

TXG and TroikA discussed the state of hip hop in South Africa right now and they both agree that it has taken a backseat giving Amapiano the number 1 spot , but TroikA stated that he is unwavered by the whole amapiano climate and trend, he also said he won’t do an Amapiano song anytime soon , until it feels right, in his words “The music has to feel organic and not forced”.

“It’s a new brand, it’s upcoming” Hope Kimberley on T_Vanacia!!

The future looks bright for the young Model Hope Kimberley.

The Str33ts conversation/Interview has given us a lot of clarity about all the members who took part in it , but it has also raised multiple questions.

The Interview had a section whereby viewers sent their questions to any member of the panel and they would give a honest answer. One of the questions the viewers had for the delightful Hope Kimberley was about a clothing brand she was seeing wearing in her latest pictures on social media. The young model said the brand name is “T_Vanacia” , it’s a clothing line which she’s only an ambassador of.

She continued to clarify that the brand is still new but the streets are loving it.

TroikA talks the inspiration behind his new EP “Str33ts”, his stage name, Peer Pressure and more!

TroikA recently sat down with Jiggy Molloy, Hope Kimberley, Silly Meg and Lindokuhle and they had a conversation about his new EP and more.

The aim of the conversation/interview was to unpack his latest work and to have a discussion on what’s happening in Harrismith street culture since his new EP is also titled “Str33ts’.

One of the things they talked about was the inspiration behind “make it out”, the inspiration behind the “TroikA” name, the inspiration behind “Peer pressure” and more.

“I wanted to do me” Silly Meg on why she left 4our20Ayam

Silly Meg is a young upcoming female rapper who gained notoriety in her home town after she releases her first single titled “The money ” in 2019.

Silly Meg fell inlove with hip hop and rap music ever since she was a child, but she only got to record her first single when she joined a hip hop music crew named “4Our20Ayam” a few years ago. The crew allegedly produced and managed her for a while until her recent split with them.

When asked in the Str33ts conversation/ interview about why she left the crew, her first words were ” I didn’t leave on bad terms, I wanted to do me”.

There was post circulating on social media quoted “The new kids saved Harrismith fashion”

The self proclaimed friendly neighborhood drip coach weighed his thoughts on it and it seems like he had more questions about the post than answers.

One of the questions he respectfully asked was “What did they save it from?” And it seems like he extended a conversation invitation to the new kids so they can have a discussion about it.

“I’m open to work with any serious photographers, hit me up” Hope Kimberley

Hope Kimberley is young model who resides in Harrismith, who took social media by storm when her lingerie modelling pictures were posted in 2021.

The model is one of the people who are on the panel on The Str33ts conversation/interview. She gained notoriety in her home town after a lingerie Photoshoot she did last year and she hasn’t looked back since.

In an interview with TroikA,Jiggy Molloy, Silly Meg and Lindokuhle, Hope clarified that she is more focused finishing her matric and getting good grades this year. But she is open to work with any photographer in and around Harrismith.

Hope Kimberley has big plans and the future looks bright for the young model.
